Timber Marketing

We are one of the largest timber harvesting and marketing business’ in the North of Scotland. We have great relationships with all our customers, from nationwide processors to small scale saw-millers, we will source what our customer needs.

With 2021’s Storm Arwen, Barra and the later Storm Mallik, the forest industry saw hundreds of thousands of tonnes of standing timber blown/damaged, particularly in the east coast of Scotland. With the surplus of timber we sought a market beyond the UK, and with our great contacts were successful and began exporting in May 2022.

Clearfell

We have a wealth of experience of harvesting a wide range of site and crop types throughout Scotland.

Whether it’s big timber on steep challenging terrain, or Lodgepole pine on poorly drained deep peat we have the experience to offer an approach matched to the site, crop and the objectives of the forest owner.
